Borrowing and Returning Transactions
The letter of the Library and Documentation Department of our University, dated 18/03/2021 and numbered 2020-2021/9.1, on making some changes in the lending and penalty system of the library in order to ensure that the number of loaned materials reaches more users and is used, and to take deterrent measures in terms of delaying books, and The annexes were discussed and it was decided that it would be appropriate to do as stated below.

BORROWING RULES
* Users other than Fırat University students, lecturers and administrative staff cannot borrow publications and can use library resources within the library.
*Users without a Barcode Student ID/Staff ID cannot benefit from the lending service.
*Advice sources, periodicals, unpublished theses cannot be borrowed.
*Members with fines and overdue publications will not be loaned.
*The library may request the return of any borrowed material from the reader before the return date.
*In case the borrowed publication is lost or damaged to such an extent that it cannot be used, the borrowing reader must obtain the same/last edition of the publication. In case of loss of out-of-print material, an equivalent (price and subject) material determined by the library must be purchased. For detailed information, 0424 237 You can call 00 00/7357.
PRICE OF DELAY
*Users must return the borrowed material on the same day.
For materials that are not returned to the library on the specified return date, a late fee of 10 krs. per book/day is charged.
* In cases where the late notes are not received by the member or they arrive late, there is no delay fee reduction or forgiveness.
LOST AND DAMAGED PUBLICATIONS
*Users are responsible for protecting and not damaging the borrowed publications.
*For those whose lost publication is in print;
The user has to provide the last edition of the publication within 15 days and pay the delay penalty, if any.
*In case of loss of out-of-print publication;
The user is obliged to obtain a broadcast equivalent to the loss determined by the Department within 15 days and to pay the delay penalty, if any.
*The broadcast that is found to have been damaged by the user is subject to the lost broadcast process.
*Members who are found to have deliberately damaged the publication will be notified in writing to their units. Users who have been penalized by the disciplinary committees are not loaned for a period of 2 months.
*Users who are found to have published unauthorized publications from the libraries and are penalized by the faculty/institute disciplinary committees are not loaned for 2 months.
REGİSTRATİON WİTHDRAWAL
*Students are required to have the "no relation" document signed by the Central Library, by returning the borrowed publications at their graduation or for any reason, by paying the penalty they have to pay, if any.
*Academic and administrative staff who have left the university on leave for more than 2 months, assigned to another institution, resigned or retired, have to dismiss them from the Central Library.
*Members who leave the university even though there is a library publication on them are reported to the Office of the Rector.
